December Missionary News

from the Nortons in Mexico

"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on it's stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven." Matt. 5:14-16

It is our prayer that God will use our family to be a light unto the world!

Our medical team being a light unto the world!

A medical clinic was held in November for the people who live on the airstrip that we wrote about last month. We had a total of about 40 people come. Ten were seen by our medical team and medication was given out to those who needed it. We had a great turn out for the children's table. We made bracelets with colorful beads that each represented a part of the gospel story. We had two 13 year old boys, who stayed with us the entire time. We enjoyed getting to know them.

Lacy and Alia were great helps at the Kids' Table!

We also had plenty of time to talk to other residents.

Molly with our new friends - Monica and her son, Oscar.

Monica (pictured above) expressed a desire to study the bible. We will be following up with her. Others just seemed to welcome the companionship. We are continuing to pray about other ways to be a light to this impoverished community.

Noah and his new friend, Daniel. Daniel enjoyed his time at the outreach coloring, making a bracelet and playing ball with Noah.

We are looking forward to seeing many of you in Bradenton over the Christmas holidays. We will be in town from Dec. 15 - Jan. 7. Please let us know by email if you would like to hear more about our time, so far, in Mexico!

For His Glory,
Carl, Lisa, Lacy, Alia, Noah and Molly
