The school that the Project for Hope kids attend had a scheduled day off during the week that the Wilder family was visiting.  We planned a day full of activities only to have the school decide last minute to change their schedule and have a regular day of school!  So, we had an afternoon of fun!! Another lesson in being flexible!!

After listening to the story of Jesus calming the storm, the kids re-enacted it.  Some were Jesus' friends in the boat and  some were making lots of wind with the parachute until Jesus stood up and calmed the storm!

Project for Hope took a week vacation while the local schools were closed for summer break.  We took advantage of the extra family time. We visited an amusement park in Guatemala City, hiked up a mountain in our village, and toured ruins in Antigua.  Fun times and great memories!  So thankful to God for our family!!
Kaylee got her face painted at the amusement park we visited.
