Hi Everyone! Just thought I'd give you all an update on how things are going in Guatemala. The President updated the country this evening. the curfew has been changed from 4pm - 4am to 6pm - 4am. Only work for those deemed essential, must wear a mask if you leave your house, and we may not travel out of our department (county.)
For us, these restrictions may be inconvenient but for many in this country it means they are not able to work, therefore, not able to buy food for their family. People are hanging white flags outside their house if they need food. White flags are everywhere! People are hungry and people are scared.
We are honored to be serving here in Guatemala with some of the most extrordinary people and followers of Jesus. I want to share what our fellow missionaries are doing in this season. We ask you to read their stories and join us in praying for them, and the people they are feeding, and supporting their efforts.

There are many other local churches, ministries and individuals who have received special permission from the government to travel to deliver food to those in need. The needs are so great, but we serve a God that is even bigger! He is in control and this did not surprise Him. Our hope will always be in Him!! Thank you for praying for the people of Guatemala.
