Happy Easter!

Sweet Girls!

Our Easter lunch.

Picking Alia up at the airport!

Home for the summer!

The teachers planned a Mother's Day acitivity for all the moms.  Each group of children performed a song or poem for the moms and then each was presented an apron decorated by their child.

For Mother's Day weekend we were able to get away to the beach for a weekend for some sun and fun!

STINKY!

Alia and Noah made a new friend!

Lacy home from Spain!

Once a year in the beginning of rainy season these giant ant come out of the ground.  People then hurry to collect them before they descend back into the ground.  Why collect them? To eat them, of course!!

3 Little bug collectors!
Lacy fried them up with chilis and lime.  Some kids refused to try, some liked them and some tried them but ..... let's just say they didn't love them!

They are called zompopos here in Guatemala and chicatanas in Mexico.

In one of the classrooms discussing tests.
We were privileged to have our CTEN pastoral care couple, David and Janice Ewing visit us. We were able to show them the school and spend some time with them.  We are always encouraged by their visits. (Photos courtesy of David!)
Chatting with the teachers.
