We were happy to welcome a team from Atlanta, Georgia. The kids love any extra attention, especially from men.

September 15 is Independence Day here in Guatemala.  Each class had a chance to perform on stage.  These are the littlest kids performing their song.

October 1 is Kid's Day in Guatemala.
 The teachers planned a fun assembly for kids, even dressing up as clowns and dancing for the kids.

OUR VISIT TO OAXACA

Sweet memory from Oaxaca.  While visiting last month we were able to stay in the same house where we lived.  The kids are standing by a screen door that my dad and Carl made on one of my parents' trips to visit us in Oaxaca!

We enjoyed eating delicious Oaxacan food - fresh from the comal!

Sweet friendships rekindled!
 Tamara's mom and I were pregnant at the same time and Kaylee and
 Tamara spent their first two years together before we moved to
 Jacksonville after Kaylee turned 2! 

So fun visiting friends and places that are so special to us!

 It was great to hear  their hearts' for the kids and ministry.

We played a game where you wrote down all your favorite
 things and then tried to find someone with the same favorite as you.
 It was a great way for the team to get to know the kids a little bit.
