May/June 2016

Project for Hope was blessed with a volunteer, Mr. Clarence, who came and served for 6 months with us.  He returned home to Wisconsin this past week.  We will all miss him!

Clarence and the Project for Hope women.

We had a chance to visit the beach.  It was fun to see the black sand of the Pacific.

The waves look a lot calmer in the photo than they were in real life!

Beach beauties!

2nd graders being silly while doing homework.

The moms were very excited to go out to breakfast.

At San Martin, a restaurant in a town about 15 minutes from us.

Nortons and Steeds - That's quite a group of kiddos!

Easter morning!

Lunch after our Easter outreach.

Games at the Easter outreach!

Early release day for the kids.  We introduced them to the game of badminton.
One of the least favorite things that happen when you have a group of kids all together - Lice!  Holly was definitely my hero this day as she washed all 16 kids' hair with lice shampoo!

Family visit with Maria Carmen, her father and her three children - Glendy, Francisca, and Sergio.  The team brought a new pair of tennis shoes for all the kids.

Dinner with 3 other missionary families means LOTS of kids!!

Meet Diego.  He is one of our kindergartners and always has a smile for you!!

This is Enrique, one of Diego's brothers.  He is 4 and has the most infectious laugh you have ever heard!

This is Sergio!  It takes him a while to warm up but once he does he's all smiles.  Sergio is 3.

Reina is in 2nd grade.  She is a sweetie. Here they are enjoying the sunshine and playing with blocks on the grass.

Chugga-chugga, choo-choo!!!

Noah dressed Bella up!
